Best known to be the home of UNESCO inscribed World Heritage Site, Angkor Wat, Siem Reap is a little, charming city which offers plenty of things to see, do and experience. This temple town definitely has no shortage of tours (and surprises) to soak yourself in authentic Cambodian experiences, trust us with this.

Breakfasts are provided, vegan and vegetarian options available. Sometimes we might go out as a group for a dinner or lunch, then the rule is simple - you order whatever you’d like to have and you pay for it.

We will have rather small group from 6 to 20 people. It’s not a mass event. It’s a life changing experience for those who love themselves, who are ready to train and transform their mind-set.

Every day you will Train Body & Mind but also you will have free time and then you are the boss – Deciding what’s the best way for you to chillout
You can dive-in and chill in the one of three swimming pools, catch up on reading books, explore Siem Reap or simply work on your suntan as much as you like. Taking advantage of the extra options you can have a relaxing full body massage (oooh yes, we do recommend it!), take a tuk tuk to the town and do café hopping in Siem Reap.

The local currency is Riel, although the US dollar is widely accepted throughout the country and in all major markets. The rate of exchange has consistently floated around USD1= 4,000 Riels for the past few years. Usually the use of credit cards is limited to larger hotels.

CLIMATE

Cambodia’s dry season extends from November until May, during which time temperatures range from 20°C to 32°C.
The monsoon season prevails from June through October with stronger breezes and higher humidity. Rainfall is usually limited to the afternoons and is sporadic. Temperatures are warmer during this time, varying from 26°C to 38°C.

TRAVEL TIPS

Cambodia is +7 hours GMT. The country is in the same time zone as neighbouring Thailand, Vietnam and Laos.
Loose, light clothing is recommended. In the dry season a light sweater may be needed in the evening. A comfortable pair of walking shoes, a wide-brimmed hat and sunscreen are all recommended. Bargaining is customary in the local markets.

LANGUAGE

Khmer is the official language. English and French are popular second languages.

Angkor Wat trip

The Angkor Wat complex of temples is a Unesco World Heritage Site, considered the pinnacle of ancient Khmer architecture, art and civilization, is the most important archaeological site of South East Asia. Impossible not to visit it when in Siem Reap.

Village trip – share love

Inspired by some of the amazing friends and stories, we decided to give you the chance to see the true Cambodian village life and share the love. Cheryl from EatTrainLove (our Fitness and Yoga instructor) helps support the visions of New Cambodia Artists and The Phum Ou Village School and Vocational Training Centre in Siem Reap. Led by young individuals who have dedicated their lives towards spreading the message of female empowerment and equal opportunity through education, both New Cambodian Artists and Phum Ou Village have such an important role in effecting positive change for generations to come.

Countryside Motor bike Tour

available only in 6-DAY option

Leave Siem Reap via backroads and ride through villages and ricefields to see life outside of town. Watch locals working on their farms, waterbuffalos basking in waterholes, kids enjoying their freedom in the countryside, and be amazed how different the speed of life is compared to bustling Siem Reap. The tour will also stop at a beautifully restored ancient reservoir for BBQ lunch (vegetarian option available). Afterwards head to the secluded and rarely visited ruins of Koh Kyorng to take in the legacy of the Khmer Empire in peace. On the way back to Siem Reap, enjoy once more the villages and their friendly people. The community benefits directly from every visitor through a specially set up development fund.

Driving options: You can enjoy driving the motorbike or you can take the back seat allowing the driver to drive the motor bike for you.

FIT

Do I have to be fit to take part in the retreat?

Not at all. We have designed the workouts to be enjoyable for every level of fit lovers and fit haters.

Is it obligatory to attend both Yoga and Fitness sessions?

We do recommend it, as it’s part of the holistic body & mind training. Yoga will increase awareness of body movement with its slow and gentle highlight toward stability and flexibility. Fitness workouts are replacing traditional cardio and strength trainings allowing you to explore comfort line and boost the endorphins’ level.

PAYMENT

Can I pay in installments?

Sure, there is a possibility to pay for the retreat in 3 installments and to keep it simple we do not add commission.

1st installment equals 20% of total price – when you sign up

2nd installment equals 30% of total price – two months before the check in date

3rd installment equals 50% of total price – one month before the check in date

What are the payment options?

You can pay via PayPal (+3,4% of PayPal fee) of Bank Transfer

TRAVEL

Why Airline tickets are not included in the price?

This is because the participants come from all over the world, and ticket prices vary according to the date of purchase and type of tickets – we don’t know if you would prefer flying business class or economic 😉

Do I need to have Visa?

That depends on your nationality and country of entrance’ requirements. Please make sure you check it before the trip and make sure your passport is valid for minimum 6 months after the retreat ends.

 

ACCOMODATION & FOOD

In what room will I stay if I go alone?

The accommodation is in double rooms with twin-beds. Although if you would prefer to stay in single-bed room we will check what is possible to arrange and inform you about the extra cost of that.

What if I have special nutritional needs?

Just let us know about it when you fill out Terms & Conditions form. Usually the cook can prepare vegan and gluten free meals for you. We are also open to other types of diets. Having all information in advance we will make sure you will get yummy and healthy food every single day.
